How Can We
Leukaemia Support Queensland is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the cure and care of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and related blood cancers. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support that addresses both the immediate and long-term needs of those affected by these diseases.
Our services include the provision of ‘home away from home’ accommodation near major treatment centres, ensuring that patients and their families have a comfortable and supportive place to stay during treatment. We offer a wealth of information and emotional support to help patients and their loved ones navigate the challenges of their diagnosis.
In addition, we provide transportation to and from hospital appointments, alleviating the logistical burdens that can accompany frequent medical visits. All our services are offered free of charge, reflecting our commitment to easing the financial and emotional strain on families during such a difficult time.
